Our customers include power plant operators, gas turbine manufacturers and the chemical and petrochemical industries. In all these areas, flame monitoring systems are among the safety-relevant components of a combustion plant. Therefore, compliance with all safety-related standards is required. At the same time, any failure is very costly, which is why the reliability and availability of the equipment is paramount.
Each device is 100% tested before delivery. For this purpose, we have developed special test rigs that cover a wide range of possible practical values. Each device is given an individual identifier, via which all test steps and results are documented.
Even before the final inspection, we monitor and test all components and assemblies during the production phase. In-circuit-tests, AOI and other assembly tests are indispensable components of our quality assurance.
Already in the development phase, our decades of experience in the field of flame monitoring are incorporated into the requirements of a new product. Our own testing requirements go well beyond the applicable standards.
ISO 9001 is a suitable tool for achieving continuous improvement. It requires the conscious commitment of all employees and active cooperation across departmental and functional boundaries. The ambition to supply our customers with the best possible product is the basic idea of our quality management system. The customer and his product requirements are the focus of every step of the process from development to delivery. Every employee knows what part he or she plays in this. Therefore, it is a matter of course for us to always be certified according to the latest requirements of ISO 9001. In addition, BFI Automation fulfils the requirement for testing the devices according to IECEx.

Please be informed that there has been a change in management at BFI Automation Mindermann GmbH. The owner and long-time managing director, Mr. Jens Michael Mindermann, is retiring from daily business with immediate effect and will continue to support us with his expertise and great experience.
Mr. Thomas Bachmann and Mr. Michael Nocker have been appointed as Managing Directors since 1 March 2024. They would like to continue the dynamic development of recent years with the rejuvenation of the top management. As long-standing employees, they are familiar with all processes and thus ensure continuity in future decisions.
